While in the game, they take on the roles of their selected avatars: Spencer is Dr. Smolder Bravestone, a strong explorer played by Dwayne Johnson; Martha is Ruby Roundhouse, a fierce fighter played by Karen Gillan; Fridge becomes Moose Finbar, a zoologist portrayed by Kevin Hart; and Bethany takes on the role of Professor Shelly Oberon, a mapmaker voiced by Jack Black. To find their way out, they must complete a risky mission that involves battling wild animals and facing the evil John Hardin.
